Scientific and Technological Information Center

Scientific and Technological Information Center is one of the departments of BRICEM. There are senior research workers, translators, librarians , publishing and editorial staffs and researchers of PC and IT, who are engaged in collecting information resources and scientific and technological archives, documents search, information investigation and research, translating, publishing and development of PC and IT. It is in charge of Scientific and Technological Information Network of Uranium Mining and Metallurgy and Scientific and Technological Information Network of Ore Dressing.

The area of library is 1500 m², with stack room, periodicals store room, periodicals reading room, abstracts reading room and reference books reading room. There are over 100,000 books in the library, mainly involved in chemistry, chemical engineering, mining, metallurgy and analysis. Readers can be helped to net access and retrieve with instruction.

There are two scientific and technological publications, e.g.Uranium Mining andMetallurgy (ISSN 1000-8063) and Hydrometallurgy of China (ISSN 1009-2617), which are both quarterly with about 120,000 letters for each issue.
