Test Factory
750 Test Factory,
located in Xingcheng City, Liao Ning province, is a subdivision Of Beijing
Research Institute of Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy. The Factory was
established in 1968, which was the only radium production factory in China. In
1988 the Factory stopped production and converted the focus into decommissioning
of the uranium facilities.
750 Test
factory¡¯s workshop in the beautiful seashore of Xingcheng covers an area of
176,000 m2, living and office area is 630,000 m2, Oulin
Company ( a civil project ) area is 130,000 m2. Now the factory has
425 staff (205 at position).
Decommissioning of
the uranium facilities begun in 1998, and now the project has come to the final
stage; the year of 2004 expects the environment assessment, check and acceptance
of the completed project. The basic equipment such as water, electricity and
road has been kept completely, meanwhile the office and living houses which
taking up to the area of 7,000 m2 has been kept too. We
